Marcel Vigneron’s Beefsteak aims to bring the best locally sourced ingredients from socially conscious purveyors. The menu is filled with healthy choices that are health promoting and ecologically responsible but don’t compromise taste.
Things like a Baby Kale Salad with turmeric hummus, castelvetrano olive, toasted cauliflower, carrot, and black pepper pumpkin seeds; a Sunflower Caesar with romaine, nutritional yeast, and hemp seeds in a sunflower dressing; and The K-Town Bowl — brown rice, quinoa, or 50/50, topped with puffed wild rice — topped with kimchi, broccolini, cauliflower, sesame seed, toasted seaweed, scallion, beans, ginger and Gochujang dressing.
And now there’s a daily happy hour from 5 to 7 pm that includes two tacos for $5 — one with turmeric chicken thighs and the other with jackfruit carnitas, the darling of the plant-based protein crowd.
Choose from Deschutes Brewery Hop Slice Summer Ale, Ballast Point Sea Rose (tart cherry-wheat ale) and Coronado Brewing Co. Guava Islander IPA for $5/glass. Wine, priced at $8/glass, include a District 7 Pinot Noir and a Ryder Estate Chardonnay. There’s also a Hibiscus Margarita (VIVA XXXII Joven Tequila, hibiscus and lime juice) for just $8/each. That’s what we’re talking ’bout.
