Holiday traditions like Aunt Sally’s (dry) stuffing and that dizzyingly sweet yam and marshmallow casserole only go so far. If you’re thinking Turkey Day should include a smoking cocktail and some imaginative victuals, Barton G. LA is hosting a lavish, and we mean lavish, Thanksgiving spread for $65 per person.
The one-day only paean to pumpkin and turkey-inspired creations will take place November 26 at Barton G., L.A.’s culinary playground for all things meant to amuse and tantalize. Each dish is a master still-life — and the cocktails are pretty darned good!
The seasonal three-course feast will include:
Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Fall Spices and Maple Crème Fraîche or
Fall Garden Salad with Arugula, Pink Lady Apple, Butternut Squash, Agrodolce, Burrata, and Lemon-Pumpkin Seed Vinaigrette
Herb Roasted Turkey Breast with Confit Leg, alongside Apricot and Sage Stuffing, Parsnip and Potato Mash, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Pistachio Crumble, and Pickled Cranberry Jus
Pumpkin Donuts with Cranberry Compote, Pumpkin Butter, Spiced Warm Chocolate, and Cinnamon Apples
Additional a la carte entrees include:
Cider House Veal Chop & Apple Crop ($58) with Chargrilled Veal Chop and Apple-Sage Chutney, Honey Crisp Apple Fritters, Baby Brussels Sprouts, Cinnamon Cider Honey
