Just in time for the holiday season kickoff, the LA Times Idea Exchange is featuring a book talk and signing this Sunday with author Gail Simmons and special guest Chef Curtis Stone. The duo will be appearing at the Paley Center for Media at 465 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills from 6:30 to 9 pm.
Tickets are available at Event Brite for $45 with Ms. Simmons’ current book, Bringing It Home or $15 without the book.
Williams Sonoma and Esters Wine Shop will be honoring Ms. Simmons’ Bringing It Home launch with a special cocktail party Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Tickets are available at Event Brite. Each $95 ticket includes delicious bits, Prosecco all evening, and a signed copy of Gail’s book.
Gail Simmons, a culinary expert, food writer, and TV personality, has been a permanent judge on Bravo’s Top Chef since 2006. She also serves as a judge on Universal Kids’ Top Chef Jr.
Bringing It Home: Favorite Recipes from a Life of Adventurous Eating, marks Simmons’ cookbook debut. The Grand Central Publishing book features recipes inspired by Gail’s world travels, all prepared with accessible ingredients for the home cook, as well as approachable techniques for family meals and entertaining.
