Providence Chef/Owner Michael Cimarusti will close out the city’s month-long Food Bowl with a Sustainable Seafood Dinner dinner and panel led by none other than Los Angeles Times critic Jonathan Gold to be held at the restaurant May 30.

Cimarusti will be co-hosting the panel that will feature Gold, Dr. Mark Gold (Associate Vice Chancellor of Environment and Sustainability, UCLA),  Sarah Rathbone (Co-Founder and Director of Operations, Dock to Dish, Los Angeles) and Captain Eric Hodge, one of the city’s most venerable fishermen. Guests will enjoy a multi-course Dock to Dish-centric dinner.

Cimarusti is preparing a special sustainably-driven, elaborate six-course menu ($185/peson) that will feature Santa Barbara-sourced Dock to Dish catch, featuring spot prawns and Hog Island oysters (weather/haul permitting.)

A cocktail reception and meet-and-greet will kick off the evening at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner at 7:15 pm.
