WeHo and NoHo gastropub The Fat Dog‘s menu is peppered with updated classics like potato skins with East Coast crab, hickory-smoked bacon, asaparagus, and Hollandaise and Braised Shortrib French Dip. (There’s also a Kale Caesar, albeit with brioche croutons and hickory smoked bacon!) Don’t miss the Brioche Bread Pudding French Toast on the brunch menu. Caramelized banana, mascparone, Nutella sauce? There will still be time to make the 4 pm class at Flywheel!
Over in Westwood, Tanzy‘s brunch menu also includes a Brioche Bread Pudding French Toast with warm maple syrup. We don’t think we can resist a side of Crispy Weiser Farms Potatoes with Chimichurri.
Shark Tank fans will likely remember Shulzies Bread Pudding, the chilled bread pudding in a cup. The Venice Beach location has a rotating menu of 108 flavors, from classics to fruit, chocolate, and seasonal offerings. The more virtuous among us may want to try the I Sigh for Acai Berry, Green Tea Matcha Magic, or Goji Berry Magic. We’re thinking Celestial Chocolate Chunk or maybe PB& Joy or Strawberry & Balsamic?
