Ho hum. Summer’s winding down — but we still have September scorchers ahead. The kiddos are getting ready to go back to school or are already there, lunch boxes in tow. Now, it’s time for the grown-ups to have a little fun!

This Thursday, Marcel Vigneron is introducing an adult happy meal menu at his WeHo restaurant Wolf  — a choice of three “Mr. Potato Bun” burgers with Marcel’s famous crispy potatoes standing in for the bun. The burgers are loaded with grown-up toppings — including nacho cheese with  pickled jalapeños; blue cheese and watercress; and muenster cheese and onions each available for $9.

No juice boxes here — Mixologist Kate Grutman is mixing up a trio of condiment-inspired cocktails to pair with that delish burger.
A Decent Salary combines London dry gin, Bianco Vermouth, Granny Smith apple and celery juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Grutman’s Bloody Maria features Santo Diablo Mezcal, Clamato juice, agave, lime juice, and muddled Fresno chili; and her Summer Shandy pairs rye whiskey with grapefruit juice, honey syrup, and Stiegl-Radler foam. Each cocktail is priced at $15.

Can’t choose? Order smaller versions of each “Mr. Potato Bun” burger, paired with each cocktail for $45! Take a Lyft because the cocktails will be available at the bar all evening!

Have fun!
