Nocking Point Wines Now Poured at 4 LA Restaurants

Until this Wednesday, Nocking Point, the wine from actor Stephen Amell (CW’s Arrow) and business partner Andrew Harding, has been available only through the wine club’s quarterly shipments. But now, the wine will be available by bottle or glass at four top L.A. restaurants, which more to come. Silver Lake’s Kettle Black and Sawyer  DTLA’s Harbor House and Encino’s Woodley Proper will all feature the label.
Kettle Black will be offering a special nightly tasting menu with Nocking Point wine pairings now through October 5. The three-course menu, available at $40 per person (not including tax and gratuity) is below.
**
  • Tuscan Kale with shaved radish, ricotta salata, lemon, breadcrumb
    • Rosé, Apex, Walla Walla Valley, 2016
      • (Apex Rosé compliments the Tuscan Kale salad in the most delicate way. Apex has soft red fruit, herbal, and citrus notes with perfect acidity to complement the salad.)
  • Cavatelli with wood fired bolognese, pecorino romano
    • Pinot Noir, Origins, Wilamette Valley, 2014
      • (Origins Pinot Noir happens to be the perfect match for our cavatelli. The cherry and vegetal notes with balanced acidity compliments every bite of the cavatelli and makes it refreshing and delicious.)
  • Plum Cake with origins pinot noir reduction, vanilla gelato, almonds
    • Pinot Gris, Maja House Vermouth
      • (Maja Pinot Gris Bianco Vermouth that we make in house pairs perfectly with the plum cake due to subtle flavors of toasted spices, citrus, and soft floral notes that complement the delicate flavors of plum, almonds and vanilla).
About Nocking Point

Nocking Point, Stephen Amell’s pet project-turned-overnight sensation, currently has over 7,000 members. Born in Walla Walla, Washington, Nocking Point blossomed from a social media-driven wine club, to its first brick-and-mortar tasting room, to international expansion into both Canada and the UK markets. Nocking Point has also recently begun to include a celebrity collaboration in each monthly wine shipment (not available yet in Canada). The first collaboration was with actor Jared Padalecki (Gilmore Girls), who made a Chardonnay-based sparkling wine. This summer’s collaboration was with Zac Levi (Chuck) who chose to make two different rosés, called  NERD HQ Part 1.0 and NERD HQ Part 2.0. And this month, the collaboration is with professional wrestling champion Cody Runnels who made a sparkling wine called Dream and a big red blend called Nightmare.
