By the time you’ve received your meal, the Back of the House staff and cooks have put in lots of effort. ‘Scratch|Bar & Kitchen‘s Phillip Frankland Lee is offering all cooks and back of house staff a free meal during February*, Back of House Appreciation Month. Frankland Lee has been recognizing these hard-working employees for three years running and this year, Scratch/Bar is providing a complimentary 9-course tasting menu for anyone who brings in a pay stub or some form of proof that he or she is a BOH employee.
Employees may bring in one non-BOH guest to dine with them at 50% off. All alcohol is full price.

Down in the OC, Santa Ana’s Osteria Vicario will be offering BOH staff and chefs a 6-course Oranocentric Italian tasting, following the same rules as Scratch/Bar. Reservations are required; no walk-ins. Osteria Vicario sources its ingredients from its farms in Abruzzo, including DOP certified organic heirloom wheat and sundried pasta with no machine drying.
