In early June, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar introduces Milkshake Mondays (June through August 2015) to go with that PCB and beef tallow fries.
Beginning Monday, June 1, Plan Check Kitchen + Bar shakes up the Monday routine with ‘Milkshake Mondays’ from June – August 2015. Available all day every Monday at all three Plan Check locations (Sawtelle, Fairfax, and Downtown), Executive Chef Ernesto Uchimura whips up the weekly Market Milkshake ($7-9) creations inspired by and featuring produce from local farmers’ markets such as mulberries, boysenberries, blood orange, and fresh turmeric.
In addition to the Market Milkshakes, Uchimura will blend up traditional milkshake ($6) flavors such as Vanilla Bean and Chocolate. A sampling of the seasonal market driven milkshakes include:
Market Blueberry Milkshake #1 with Yuzu ice cream, blueberry, and blood orange whipped cream
Market Blueberry Milkshake #2 with luxardo cherry whipped cream and sugar cookie crumbles
Chocolate Strawberry Fields Milkshake with strawberry ice cream, chocolate chips, whip cream, and a chocolate dipped strawberry
Speculoos Cookie Butter Milkshake with French vanilla ice cream, cookie crumble, and whipped cream
