Starting May 30, Boxwood on the Roof returns to The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills for Summer 2017 season with fresh new menus, weekly programmed nights, and a revamped space designed for sharing and hobnobbing. We’re in!
Panoramic city views and a playful yet sophisticated vibe punctuate this spot-on oasis for al fresco dining and socializing with weekly programmed evenings like Rosé All Day on Tuesdays, live music on Wednesdays and “Game On” Fridays featuring tabletop games. Brunch will be expanded to Saturday, while Sunday brunch will feature live jazz music.
Exec Chef Anthony Keene has created a vibrant menu to reflect the eclectic tastes of The London’s international clientele while remaining true to its relaxed mod ambiance. New menu highlights include a Brown Rice Bowl with fried egg; Grilled Steak and Snap Peas; Chicken Caesar served in a waffle cone; Burrata with grilled peaches, cherries, tomato and za’atar; Salmon with Meyer lemon confit and picholine olive tapenade; Roasted Spring Beets with goat cheese fritter and yogurt dressing.
And desserts — including Toasted Coconut & Rum Crème Brulée; Sea Salt and Butterscotch Budino; Chocolate and Strawberry Jam “roly poly” with freeze-dried strawberry ice cream; and a selection of Farmhouse Cheeses.
Of course, there are cocktails — and this year’s list is imaginative, inspired by iconic Brit rock bands with monikers like The Behind Blue Eyes (The Who, 1964) — Stoli Blueberi with Fresh Mint, Limes and Blueberries; Hot Stuff (Rolling Stones, 1976) — Sauza Tequila with Fresh Watermelon, Jalapeno, Lime and Prosecco; and Love Me Do (The Beatles, 1963) — Grey Goose Le Melon, Honeydew and Lime. The list is rounded out beverages like Coco Almande Delight, Cucumber Lemonade, the Lavender Mule, and Blood Orange Caipirinha.
Cap off a sweltering day with a choice of two Shave Ice, including Cucumber Cooler and Tequila Grapefruit. Sangria, beers, and wines by the glass are also available.
Boxwood on the Roof will be open for lunch and dinner daily, as well as brunch on the weekend.
