Terrine Joins LA’s After Dark Scene

LA isn’t known for late night haunts. Maybe it’s because Angelenos are up at six for Soulcycle or to hike Runyon Canyon. But, that’s changing. California brasserie Terrine will be launching a daily after-hours program beginning April 27.

Exec Chef Kris Morningstar and Head Bartender Ryan Wainwright will offer a new late-night food and drink program to kick off during dineLA Happy Hour Week. The menu will center around comforting dishes ($9-11) and craft cocktails ($9-10), available 9 -11 pm Sunday through Thursday and 10 pm – 2 am Friday through Saturday.

The bar’s Ryan Wainwright mixes spirit-centric modern interpretations of cocktail classics and will offer three ever-changing drinks including Pimms Pong  with Pimms, Contratto, Tamazzotti, and Beefeater; Rosewater Sour with Rain Vodka, Lemon, Noilly Prat, Aperol,, and housemade rosewater cordial; and a classic Plymouth Martini.

Wainright will also share designated Martini Cards with his tried and true recipe as well as a classic martini from George Kappeler 1895. Guests will be able to personalize martinis by selecting one brand of gin or vodka mixed with their choice of vermouth in any format of their choosing. Depending on the brand, these custom cocktails will be priced between $11-22.

To accompany the craft cocktail program, Exec Chef Morningstar will create a frequently changing “fourth meal” with dishes like Onion Soup PoutineCroque Cubano with smoked ham, capicola, Gruyere, and pickled Fresno chili relish; Truffled Chicken Liver Toast and Chipped Beef & Gravy.
