L.A.’s happening. The Dodgers took game one of the series — and this Saturday night, Lucques Group head barman Christiaan Röllich, one of our favorite mixologists around town, is going to be preparing his extraordinary libations at The Larder Bar Counter’s (at Tavern in Brentwood) new Program of Epicurean Events for an Intimate Gathering, launched by Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne (The Lucques Group).
Christiaan’s Bar, as the pop up will be known, is designed for intimate group gatherings at the newly remodeled bar. The last Saturday of each month, Röllich will showcase his brilliant classic cocktails made with hand-crafted ingredients, a Röllich touch. Each month will feature a changing menu of specialties designed and created by Röllich. Reservations are not required.
Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a Negroni with house-made gin, vermouth and aperitivo or a Manhattan made with Röllich’s own sweet vermouth and bitters. Our favorite is Christiaan’s reimagined Gin & Tonic with house-made gin, grapefruit, lemongrass, house tonic, and botanicals. It’s the perfect cocktail for these sweltering October days and has been receiving rave reviews since debuting at Tavern, Lucques, a.o.c.
To kick off the evening, each guest will receive a welcome Americano with their cocktail order and a menu of Dutch-inspired snacks prepared by Chef de Cuisine Amy Deaderick is available to purchase.
Hours for Christiaan’s Bar at The Larder are from 6:00 p.m. – close. All cocktails are priced at $15; bar snacks are à la carte. The boutique bar pop up will continue monthly on the last Saturday of each month featuring a changing menu of specialties designed and created by Christiaan Röllich.
