Coming back to Beer, Wurst and Sauerkraut … don’t leave Munich without at least one visit to a typical beer garden. Not only will you get to enjoy the very hearty German cuisine at its best and drink one (or more) amazing beers, you’ll also get to know the locals. You’ll sit on long tables with random people and it will take just a few minutes until you’ll be chatting with your neighbor. If you are visiting Munich during the winter season, go and visit one of the local breweries! Here you’ll have the same experience – only indoors. If you’re not a big fan of having huge amounts of meat on your plate and prefer a good glass of wine to a mug of beer: Don’t worry! Things to do in Munich
Where to start? Munich has so many cultural points of interest and landmarks, you would need at least a month to see them all! From the iconic “Frauenkirche” (aka. The Cathedral Church of our Lady), to the Museum in the impressive “Residence” in the city center up to a romantic road trip to the world famous “Palace Neuschwanstein” which was built by the very eccentric Ludwig II in the late 19th century.
After spending a great day visiting some of the city’s highlights, strolling through the many shops in the city center or just relaxing in one of the beautiful parks, it’s time to enjoy Munich’s bustling nightlife!
